Cervical spondylosis is a condition that can cause deterioration of the discs, vertebrae, and ligaments in the neck or cervical spine. Swollen neck joints can pinch nerves in the spinal cord that can cause tingling or “pins and needles” feeling in the extremities and sometimes pain.
