Abductor Muscle
Abductor Muscle
Abductor muscles play an important part in helping you stay stable when walking or standing on one leg. Weakness in these muscles can cause pain and interfere with proper movement. Weakness can be due to lack of activity and extended time sitting during the day. This can cause pain in your hips, bottom, back of your legs, behind the kneecap and knees.

Pain Relief
Causes of abductor pain can include tendonitis (inflammation), tendinopathy, and abductor tears caused by over use while playing sports. Hip tendonitis can be caused when nearby muscles are weak or too strong causing a muscle imbalance.
